Same old spring-time story. There's not much going on as far as avalanches are concerned. The snow surface gets frozen overnight and warms and gets wet during the heat of the day. As long as things don't get too wet and sloppy, we won't see much avalanche threat. That said, when I travel through the mountains in the Spring, I don't overstay my welcome on steep slopes. I avoid being on or below them later in the day when the snow is really wet and slushy.
